Sharing our Heritage Through Beksan Designs

I sit hanging out with my mother and realize how happy I am that we started Beksan Designs.  I am most happy that we used our Turkish grandfathers surname to name our company!  My sis was lucky because she met my grandfather when she was a small child, however I was born the year after he passed away!  Since I was little, everyone says how much I look like him and how my skin color is so similar to his.  He was born in a small village in the middle of Turkey and with hard work and education, he became a successful physician in Istanbul! Our Turkish grandmother was an incredibly special person too, she made such a difference in our lives.  In fact, March 12 is her birthday and we remember her every year.  Having Beksan Designs reminds us of both of our grandparents and how fortunate we are to have this heritage and our memories. Lately, we have been working hard to design some new jewelry and also bring back much of what has been very popular!  We sold out on a number of items during the holidays and have some NEW beautiful Antika 24k Gold vermeil single and double stone earrings.  This spring wearing bright colors is so fashionable and our colorful semi-precious stones are just the answer to brighten your wardrobe!  Our Brass collection also has a wide variety of semi-precious stone bracelets and necklaces at prices that can't be beat!  They are available at trunk shows and workshops and will be online on our website by the end of March!
