The Fun and Rewards of Hosting a Trunk Show

Trunk Show parties are fun for us and those who have volunteered to host them.  Why would someone want to host a Beksan Imports trunk show?  As a recent host said, "because it's going to be so much fun to get my friends together and try on the Turkish jewelry and silk scarves!"  Most people haven't been to Turkey and this is an exciting way for hosts and their guests to experience a part of Turkish culture in a comfortable setting.  It is a time when friends, family members and colleagues can come together, socialize, enjoy some refreshments, and shop Beksan Imports Turkish jewelry and accessories at 30 percent below retail prices.  And the host benefits too--an additional 30% off the Beksan Imports item of their choice! Hosting a trunk show is also rewarding. When we thanked another hostess for her efforts, the hostess emailed us back and said:  "Thank YOU Meyla! I know everyone really enjoyed it.  I'm wearing my beautiful new bracelet today." Whether it is sterling silver jewelry, evil eye bracelets or pendants, a Turkish scarf or accessory, our moderately priced collections have something for everyone. Here's how it works:  First, the venue and date are selected.  It can be in the host's home or a public setting.  Then we set a date with the host...Friday evenings after work are popular--a Beksan Imports "Happy Hour" with shopping.  Some prefer Saturday or Sunday afternoons or early evenings. We then work with the host to develop an invitation.  We suggest a "save the date" about a month ahead, sending out the actual invitation 2 weeks before than a reminder a few days prior!  To boost attendance, we also suggest the host send out a custom email, but it is up to the host to decide the best way to attract their invitees. As part of the entertainment, the host provides light refreshments and we are happy to provide some beverages as well.  Either one of us, Meyla or Nevra, will be on hand to bring the products and answer questions.  We currently are available to help host/trunk show in the Greater Bay Area or Los Angeles area and if requested ahead of time we can provide support outside of these areas.
