Fall 2020: Discover THE Colors of the Season

It’s almost Fall and what comes to mind for you? Perhaps fall color leaves, sunflowers, pumpkins, and shorter days!  We at Beksan Designs love the outdoors and are excited about biking, walking and just seeing the blue ocean this Fall!

Color is the key in transitioning from summer to fall. This season’s “color palette for fall/winter 2020 highlights our desire for versatile, timeless color—reflecting a less-is-more mindset,” explains Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, “colors whose timelessness and versatility convey a level of functionality and at the same time lend themselves to unique color statements that stand out.”

Below we’re sharing some of the big color trends we’ll see in clothing and accessories. Included are the gemstones that go with them and their meaning:  

• Red, Red Wine – Think sultry red, burgundy deep shades of red!

• Almond Milk – A warm neutral beige, creamy color evokes modern luxury

Gemstone Moonstone – soothes emotional instability and stress, as it stabilizes emotions.

• Lively Orange Hues – Diverse orange hues paired with brown leather exuding creativity and joy.

Gemstone Amber – a powerful healer and cleanser of the body, mind, and spirit.

• Black is back – New styles same color BLACK is here this season!

• Beige/Tan/Blush–Soft shades of beige and blush are everywhere!
