What are This Fall's Colors?

“The Fall 2017 palette is rooted in “a commonality between the colors we are seeing on the runway in New York and London,” explained Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. At Beksan Designs, we’ve learned that this Fall’s colors are evocative of warmth and different shades of red are everywhere!

Here is a key to the popular color palates as identified by Pantone. For each, we’ve suggested coordinating gemstones or accessories:

Grenadine ~ “One of the most dynamic and self-confident red shades, and we will surely find it everywhere from fashion to beauty (wouldn’t it be gorgeous, as a lipstick?).” A brighter red, you can find this shade with our silk or pashmina scarves, perfect to complement a little black dress.

Tawny Port ~ is known as the “Red Family’s most elegant child, as its sophisticated, darker shade of red is just the perfect go-to for any fall party, especially when used in fashionable solid-colored outfits.” A similar color to the cornelian stones in our earrings and necklaces, these would be a lovely addition to any outfit!

Ballet Slipper Pink ~ This shade of pink that is soft and beautiful, maybe consider one of our rose quartz bracelets or earrings?

Butter Rum is a mellow, comforting and warming light brown shade that elicits good feelings. Combine different shades of deep yellow or light brown for a look inspired by Fall flora and fauna. A Beksan citrine ring anyone?

Navy Peony ~ is elevated this season to be sophisticated and chic. As seen both at New York and London Fashion Weeks, this is an elegantly darker shade of navy blue.  Our beautiful lapis earrings, necklaces and rings reflect this color.  In addition, our navy peony scarves are elegant and will complement a white shirt or suit. 

Neutral Gray ~ As Pantone best puts it….”While gray is a universally flattering shade, Neutral Gray is Pantone’s trendiest answer to the fall 2017 neutral trend. Meant to be used either as “an accent or a head-to-toe statement shade”, Neutral Gray is fashion designers Thom Browne’s and Alexander Wang’s favorite shade for the fall 2017 season.”  Think labradorite bracelet, necklace or earrings, a lovely way to integrate beautiful neutral gray into your accessories.

Golden Lime & Autumn Maple ~ Two very fall colors also made the top fall color trend list, and we have some beautiful jade and green aventurine earrings as well as autumn maple colored coin purses and fabric bags!
