What we learned from our Dad…..Happy Father’s Day Week!

My sis and I recently talked about the impact our father had by modeling his success when he started his own business!  Our father had a strong work ethic and passed it on to my sis and I!  He was also amazingly creative and that was one of his key strengths when he founded his own business Sweda Corporation in his 50's.  The model he conceived, designing consumer electronics, e.g. clocks, radios, pens, watches, etc. with company logos was just hitting the market at the time and it worked!  He was an inspiration to his industry and to our family. We learned a lot from our dad and want to celebrate him for Father's Day!    Our father inspired and encouraged us to start our own business and as many of you know we used our Turkish grandfather's surname to name our company!  So although we are in the jewelry and accessories business we have learned a great deal from the men in our family!  We love the process of designing jewelry to create pieces that will inspire you.  Whether it is semi-precious stones in 24K gold vermeil, black onyx in sterling silver embedded with marcasite, mother of pearl, or gorgeous sapphires, we work hard to provide you with jewelry and accessories that are truly special.
